Plixie Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to Plixie subscriptions purchased through Paddle. It supplements the Plixie Terms of Service, Paddle's applicable buyer terms and refund policy, and mandatory consumer law.

1. Canceling during the trial

Plixie currently offers a 30-day trial that requires payment details. To ensure you are not charged for the first subscription period, submit your cancellation at least two calendar days before the trial ends. If Paddle confirms your cancellation before the first charge is processed, you will not be charged. Access continues until the stated end of the trial unless the account or household is deleted sooner.

You may cancel through the Plixie billing page and Paddle customer portal. Deleting the Plixie app, leaving a household, or simply stopping use does not cancel the subscription.

2. Canceling a paid subscription

To ensure the subscription does not renew, submit your cancellation at least two calendar days before the renewal date shown in Billing. If Paddle confirms your cancellation before the renewal charge is processed, the subscription will not renew.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You and your household will continue to have paid access through the access-through date shown in Billing. No additional subscription charge will be made after an effective cancellation unless you reactivate or purchase a new subscription.

3. No voluntary refunds

All charges are final and nonrefundable. Plixie does not offer voluntary refunds, prorated refunds, credits, or refunds for unused time, including when a user:

  • forgets to cancel before a trial or renewal;
  • cancels after a charge has been processed;
  • stops using the Service during a billing period;
  • leaves or is removed from a household; or
  • is dissatisfied with a feature that operated substantially as described.

This no-refund policy does not eliminate any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, tax, charge-dispute, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Paddle may also approve a refund in circumstances permitted by its own refund policy, including certain material defects, billing errors, or discretionary requests. Because Paddle is the merchant of record and seller for the payment transaction, its decision and mandatory law control where they provide greater rights.

4. Billing errors, unauthorized charges, and product defects

If you believe a charge is duplicated, incorrect, or unauthorized, or that a material and persistent technical defect prevents access to the paid Service as described, contact us or Paddle promptly. We will help locate the transaction and investigate the issue. Do not send a full card number or password.

Where a refund is required by law or approved by Paddle, Paddle will return it to the original payment method where possible. A full refund ends paid access associated with the refunded period and may affect every member of the household.

5. How to cancel or raise a billing issue

Use one of these methods:

  1. Open the Paddle customer portal from Plixie's Billing page or from the Manage subscription link in your Paddle receipt.
  2. Contact Paddle buyer support through paddle.net.
  3. Email makinna@opsdesigner.com with the Plixie account email, charge date, amount, and a description of the issue.

The Billing page or Paddle portal will show the subscription status, renewal date, and access-through date.

6. Mandatory local rights

Some countries, states, or regions provide cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or remedy rights that cannot be waived, including rights for certain digital purchases or defective services. Those rights apply even if this policy is less generous. Paddle may provide country-specific instructions, eligibility, and deadlines as merchant of record.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

7. Third-party marketplace purchases

Plixie currently uses Paddle for web subscriptions. If Plixie later offers purchases through an app store or another marketplace, cancellations and refunds for those purchases may need to be requested from that marketplace and will be governed by its rules and mandatory law.
