Plixie Privacy Policy

Plixie helps families coordinate calendars, chores, meals, grocery lists, recipes, and other household information. This Privacy Policy explains how OpsDesigner, doing business as Plixie ("Plixie," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the Plixie website, application, Cast Mode, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Who controls your information

If you join a Plixie household created by another person, the parent or guardian who manages that household also decides what household content is added and which household members may see it.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Depending on how you use Plixie, you may provide:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, password credentials or third-party sign-in identifier, and household role.
• Household profile information, such as a family or household name, member names, profile colors, role designations, and parent-managed child profiles.
• Household content, such as calendar events, chores, assignments and completion status, meals, recipes, grocery-list items, invitations, notes, and preferences.
• Support and communications, including contact-form submissions, support requests, feedback, and other messages you send us.
• Subscription information, such as the plan selected and subscription, transaction, trial, and payment status. Paddle processes payment-card details for us; Plixie does not receive or store your full card number.

Please avoid placing highly sensitive information in household content, especially information that will be shown on a shared household screen or in Cast Mode.

Information from connected services

If you choose to connect another service, we receive information needed to provide that connection:

• Google Calendar. With your permission, Plixie may access the calendars you select, calendar and event identifiers, event details, account email, synchronization status, and authorization tokens needed to maintain the connection. Plixie uses this information to display and synchronize your selected calendars and events and to create, update, or remove connected events when you request it.
• Calendar feeds. If you add an iCalendar or similar calendar feed, we process the feed address, calendar identifiers, event information, and synchronization status.
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple. We receive the information that you authorize the provider to share, which may include your name, email address, provider account identifier, and authentication status.

You can disconnect a calendar or sign-in connection through the applicable settings or by contacting us. Disconnecting may stop future synchronization but may not automatically delete household content that you or another member separately created in Plixie.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• device and browser type, operating system, IP address, language, and general location derived from IP;
• pages or features used, referring page, dates and times of access, and diagnostic events;
• session, authentication, security, and fraud-prevention information; and
• cookie or local-storage information needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service.

We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• create and secure accounts and households;
• provide calendars, chores, meals, grocery lists, recipes, Cast Mode, invitations, and other requested features;
• synchronize information with services you choose to connect;
• process subscriptions and confirm access to paid features;
• respond to support requests and communicate about service, security, billing, and policy changes;
• troubleshoot, protect, maintain, and improve the Service;
• prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
• comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service; and
• create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, based on your consent, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but that will not affect processing already completed.

4. How household sharing works

Plixie is designed for shared household use. Content added to a household may be visible to other members of that household according to their role and the feature involved. For example, invited household members may be able to see shared calendars, chores, meals, recipes, and grocery lists.

Cast Mode is intended for display on a shared screen. Anyone who can see or use that screen may be able to view household information or interact with available controls. The household account holder is responsible for choosing an appropriate device location, locking or signing out of devices when needed, and deciding what information is appropriate to display.

If you leave a household, content that you contributed may remain available to the household when it is part of the shared household record.

5. When we disclose information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

• Within your household, as described above and as directed by household members with appropriate permissions.
• Service providers. We use providers to host and secure the Service, store data, authenticate users, send operational email, process payments, and support connected features. Current core providers include Supabase, Lovable, Paddle, Google, and Apple. They may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their own legal obligations and contractual restrictions.
• Connected services. We send information to Google Calendar or another service when you direct Plixie to create, update, delete, or synchronize content with that service.
• Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce agreements.
• Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.
• With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to or give us permission.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Google API data and Limited Use

Plixie accesses Google user data only to provide features that you request, such as displaying and synchronizing selected Google calendars and events. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, use it to create credit profiles, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not permit humans to read Google user data except when you affirmatively request support and consent to access, when needed for security or abuse investigation, or when required by law.

Plixie's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Children and teen users

Plixie is a family-management service, but the person who creates and manages a household must be an adult parent or legal guardian.

• A child under 13 may appear only as a parent-managed household profile. A child under 13 may not independently create an account or provide Plixie with an email address or other personal information for an independent login.
• A user who is at least 13 but under the age of legal majority may use a linked household account only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• Parents and guardians decide what information to add about their children and are responsible for keeping it appropriate and current.
• A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a child's profile information by using Plixie's household and account controls or contacting us.

If we learn that a child under 13 created an independent account or supplied personal information without valid parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify that information and disable the account. 8. Payments

Paddle is Plixie's merchant of record and processes checkout, payment, tax, invoices, subscription management, and refunds. Paddle may collect payment and billing information directly from you under Paddle's Privacy Policy and buyer terms. Plixie receives limited information needed to manage your access, such as Paddle customer and transaction identifiers, plan, subscription status, trial status, renewal date, cancellation status, and limited billing metadata. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

• Household content is generally retained while the relevant household account is active.
• If an account or household is deleted, we take reasonable steps to remove associated information from active systems, subject to short-lived backups and information we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, security, tax, or dispute purposes.
• Google authorization tokens and connected-calendar data under our control are deleted or disabled when the connection or account is deleted, subject to limited backup and legal exceptions.
• Payment and transaction records may be retained by Paddle and by us for the periods required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and payment laws.
• Support and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected.

Some content contributed to a shared household may remain with that household after an individual member leaves. An adult household manager may need to delete that shared content.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, devices, shared displays, calendar-feed links, and household invitation codes, and for notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal our response. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. Plixie does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can update certain profile and household information in the Service, disconnect connected calendars, cancel a subscription through the billing portal, or use the account-deletion controls. You may also email makinna@opsdesigner.com with a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant account or household. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal.

12. International use

Plixie and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed in these locations subject to applicable law.

13. Third-party links and services

The Service may link to or connect with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. You should review those policies before connecting or sharing information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected information, we will seek consent when required by law.
